War Results (5/30/2011)

Here are the results of the matches & some notes from this week's War:

Matches:

- Angel Rodriguez defeated Diego Garza (Road to the Throne Quarter Final Match)

- Top Shelf Talent defeated Peste & Guerra by disqualification (Non-Title Match)

- Craig Owens defeated Kevin Evans (Road to the Throne Quarter Final Match)

- Lara James defeated Amy (Non-Title Match)

- Jordan Chase & Calvin Hobbs defeated Josh Polson & Chris James

- Hardcore Demon & Hardcore Pulveriser battled to a no contest

Notes:

- Peste & Guerra got themselves intentionally disqualified in their match against Top Shelf Talent. They, along with their associates Hambre & Angel Rodriguez, assaulted the Tag Team Champions 4 on 2, & Angel revealed after the beat down that Peste & Guerra have a Tag Team Championship Match at Road to the Throne against Top Shelf Talent in a Ladder Match.

- Kevin Evans came to War to gloat about going straight from the 1st round to the Semi Finals in the Road to the Throne tournament, to which Shane McMahon came out & announced that since Kevin had to heavily rely on Hayden Jaggerz to help him win, he was giving Craig Owens a 2nd chance on War to face Kevin 1 on 1, with Hayden barred from the arena. The match itself ended very quickly, as Craig immediately hit Kevin with the Texan Funeral for the win.

- In 2 separate segments, both Criss Menace & Thorn were attacked by Omega (who then proceeded to take Criss' Cage Championship) & Lionel Deathshot respectively.

- The War debut of Trenton York was hyped for next week.

- Brock, Lionel, Hardcore Pulveriser & Omega managed to leave Hardcore Demon lying in the middle of the ring this week on War, as the 4 revealed they had orchestrated this throughout the whole night. An unknown woman, named Danielle & revealed to be the girlfriend of Pulveriser, left Lara lying in the ring as well at the same time. The beat down on Demon came to a finish with a double chokeslam from Lionel & Pulveriser.

- After the beat downs, Omega challenged Criss Menace to a Cage Championship Match at Road to the Throne, while Lionel Deathshot challenged Thorn to a Last Man Standing Match at the Pay Per View.

- After War had gone off the air & Pulveriser & Danielle had left the ringside area, Brock, Lionel & Omega went to further assault Demon, but when Brock went for a spear, he inadvertantly speared both Lionel & Omega, who held Demon up for the spear. Demon responded with a chokeslam & a tombstone piledriver to Brock. Demon, still suffering the effects of the beat down he suffered at the end of War, managed to carry Lara in his arms out of the ring & backstage.
