Roulette Results (May 21st, 2011)

22/05/2011 22:38

This past Saturday night, over 17,000 CWW fans jam-packed the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada for CWW's Roulette Pay Per View. All matches had something decided by the Roulette wheel, which proved to everyone that the Pay Per View was going to be nothing but unpredictable.

Here are the results of each match with a recap:

- Chris James defeated Josh Polson

(Polson's Opponent for the match was to be decided)

Josh Polson came into this match unsure of who his opponent was gonna be & the fact that he had been on a quite a losing streak leading up to the PPV. Chris James was chosen by the wheel to be Josh's opponent & Chris continued Josh's woes in a hotly contested bout to kick off the PPV.

- Lara James & Michelle Adams defeated Kelly, Amber & Amy

(Post-Match Fate for the loser was to be decided)

May 21st, 2011 will go down in history as 1 of, if not, the worst night of Amber's life, as she was the vixen pinned in this match & due to the stipulation decided by the Roulette wheel, Amber was forced to have her head shaved. She tried to get out of it, but Michelle made sure that she would get her head shaved in front of the world. Amber was hit with the U.G.L.Y from Michelle & strapped into the barber chair by the 2 victorious vixens, who then proceeded to shave Amber 100% bald.

- Top Shelf Talent defeated The Flips in a 2 out of 3 Fall Tables Match to retain the CWW Undisputed Tag Team Championships

(Match Type was to be decided by the wheel)

The wheel spin originally landed on GM's Choice & since Shane spun the wheel for this match, he chose a 2 out of 3 Fall Tables Match. The Flips, who entered this match with a ton of momentum, after beating the champs in a Non-Title Match on War 5 days prior, scored the 1st Fall when Dave countered Derek's powerbomb attempt into a DDT through a table. The champs gained the 2nd Fall to tie up the match when Alex hit Chris with The Coliseum Crunch off the 2nd rope through another table. The champs won the 3rd Fall & the match when Derek hit Dave with the Super Island Driver off the top rope through a table.

- Criss Menace & Thorn defeated Lionel Deathshot & Hardcore Pulveriser

(Legal Weapon was to be decided by the wheel)

All 4 brothers were hell-bent on putting each other through hell at Roulette, but it was Thorn that sent Lionel & Pulveriser to hell, through the ring & the table all at once at the end of it all. Criss & Thorn gained the victory when Criss almost decapitated Pulveriser with The Guillotine bicycle kick right to the face in a match that involved just tables, as they were chosen as the legal weapon by the Roulette wheel. After the match, Lionel was laid across a table in the middle of the ring & Thorn hit Pulveriser with The Final Nail, which sent Pulveriser crashing through the table & Lionel, with the impact sending Pulveriser, Lionel & the table right through the ring. Criss was also the victim of an injury, which can be read about at this link:

- The Assassin & Kevin Irvine battled to a No Contest in a First Blood Match

(Match Type was to be decided by the wheel)

The action between these 2 heated rivals began way before the official introductions, as both men battled out to the stage through the curtain for the First Blood Match. Both men hit each other with anything & everything to make the other bleed, but nothing would work. In the end, both men would end up bleeding & no winner would be determined, as Kevin crashed head first into a cornered ladder, while he sent Assassin head first through a table, busting both men open & declaring this match a No Contest.

- Harry Jones defeated Hunter J in a Loser Leaves CWW Match

(Post-Match Fate was to be decided by the wheel)

Harry proved to the entire world that Hunter couldn't beat him in the ring as he defeated Hunter J in an extremely emotional match, which would see the loser be forced to leave CWW forever. Hunter was indeed firing on all cylinders throughout this match, but a well-timed HKO sealed the win for Harry, who then proceeded to hit Hunter with an 810 Splash for the winning pinfall. After the match, Hunter went to leave, but Harry got on the mic & called Hunter a coward for crying before offering to Hunter that he could get him a new contract with CWW, on the condition that if Hunter cashes in his briefcase & wins the Revolution Heavyweight Championship, Hunter must give Harry the first shot at the title.

- Mark "Razor" Jones defeated Omega to retain the CWW Championship in a Casket Match

(Match Type was to be decided by the wheel)

Although both these 2 superstars were eager to rip each other apart, not even they could predict that their match would turn out to be a Casket Match. Both men hit each other with absolutely everything in their arsenal, but Mark was the man who would be declared the winner on this night after hitting Omega with Full Force Impact before rolling him into the casket for the victory.

- Jake Lyndon vs Dan Maskell for the Revolution Heavyweight Championship never started

This match was 1 of the most heavily hyped matches of the Pay Per View, but there ended up being no match at all between these 2 to live up to that hype, as Dan opted to brutally assault Jake from behind & not opt to get the match started. Jake could hardly get a shot in on Dan, as Dan continuously ripped him apart all over the ringside area & on the stage. The assault ended when Dan put Jake through the announce table with a moonsault off a ladder. As medics tended to Jake, Dan climbed a ladder in the ring & retrieved the Revolution Heavyweight Championship. He acted as if he was indeed the new champion & walked backstage with it, but Dan couldn't be recognized as the new official champion as the match never actually started.

{The Surge/Matt Xtreme Mask vs Career 3 Stage of Hell Match was scrapped from the PPV due to circumstances out of Management's control}

- Hardcore Demon defeated Brock w/ Shawn Michaels as the Special Guest Referee

(Special Referee was to be decided by the wheel)

It was a feel-good moment for everyone in attendance, as the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels was chosen as the Special Guest Referee for this long-awaited confrontation. Demon & Brock threw everything at each other, from Chokeslams to Dominators to Demonic Vices to even Tombstones, but nothing seemed to work for either man. Shawn was inadvertantly knocked down a couple of times throughout the match; first by a Brock superkick intended for Demon, & later on by a Demon big boot intended for Brock. After interference from Jordan Chase, Calvin Hobbs, Hardcore Pulveriser, Lionel Deathshot, Thorn & Criss Menace, it looked as if Brock was finally going to win after connecting with a vicious running jumping knee right to the face of Demon, but it didn't work. Finally, after The Last Ride & the Jackhammer Slam, it was Demon who scored the victory. Shawn also got physical in this match as well, as he delivered 2 renditions of Sweet Chin Music to both Jordan & Calvin for interfering. After the match, both Demon & Shawn showed each other mutual respect & shook hands in the middle of the ring, which was a real feel-good moment for everyone watching & to cap off what was indeed an unforgettable Roulette Pay Per View.
